Chemical Grout Injection

Chemical Grout Injection is a process of injecting a near water-viscosity liquid under low pressure, into cohesionless soil to create a solid stonelike mass.

When loose soils in the top 15-20 feet beneath your foundation need consolidation, pressure grouting with a concrete mixture cannot be used due to the high possibility of heaving your structure. A chemical injection formula would be chosen by your Geological Engineer to be pumped under low pressure into the loose soils.

Chemical Grout Injection

This procedure is often used around pool decks and other high-pressure sensitive areas where cement based grout could be detrimental.

On projects where needed, Secure Foundation Systems, Inc. can provide support for excavated walls, prevent surface ground settlement, control erosion, reduce liquefaction potential, and create a chemical stonelike anchor for various size tie-backs and tie-downs.

Why Would I Need Chemical Grout Injection?

In the underpinning process there are times that your Engineer wants to include Chemical Grout Injection with the underpinning process, to increase the load bearing capacity in underlying soils. Chemical Grout Injection in the lower strata can prevent further settlement in upper layers of loose soils.

Secure Foundation Systems, Inc. performs Chemical Grout Injection with both proficiency and time consciousness using custom machinery fabricated specifically for this procedure.

"You never knew they were working! Kept to themselves, very polite, very great job!"
