When asked about the new website, SFSI President Ryan Gummer said, “Customer service is our top priority, and to be able to provide this much information about our company, our services, and sinkholes demonstrates how much we care about them and their decision in choosing a qualified and experienced company for their project.”

New website features include:

  • Expanded Customer Testimonials section including our popular testimonial booklet available for download (click here to view);
  • “Secure Advantage” video detailing the difference between SFSI and other sinkhole repair companies (click here to view);
  • More pictures of our crews, equipment, and projects; and
  • Detailed county maps showing reported sinkholes from Florida’s most sinkhole prone counties (click here to view).

These are a few of the many improvements to our new website. We encourage you to stop by and view the difference for yourself at www.SinkholeExperts.com.

SFSI Driveway Extraction Video

Thursday, 6 May 2010 17:11 by SFSI

Secure Foundation Systems extracted a section of driveway apron that had fallen in a cover collapse sinkhole at a residence in Altamonte Springs, FL.  In a coordinated effort between Secure Foundation Systems, Progress Energy, SDII Global Corporation and Crane Rental Corporation a 9' x 10' piece of reinforced concrete 6" thick at an estimated 7,000 lbs was extracted from the hole to allow for additional observation of the conditions beneath.

The video depicts coring of the slab using a 6" core saw operated by a securely harnessed Secure Foundation Systems employee.  Once the core was created the crane boom was lowered and attached to the slab.  The slab was then extracted to allow access to properly remediate the sinkhole conditions below.

Jim Alexander, SFSI Vice President and General Contractor, (seen in the video) closely supervised the execution of this project.
