Over the years, our website has developed into a very useful resource for property owners and those interested in understanding the effects of sinkholes on their homes or places of business. Not only have we translated our website, but also a number of our printed marketing materials are now in Spanish. Recently, we also added Marisol Justiniano, who speaks Spanish fluently, to our team of remediation consultants.
The addition of these Spanish resources will help us better educate and communicate to those who feel more comfortable speaking and reading in Spanish. In 2000, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated that 23.1% of the residents in Florida spoke a language other than English at home. These numbers certainly include Spanish-speaking individuals and are almost certain to be higher in the upcoming results of the 2010 Census.
