Slab Jacking is the viable alternative to replacing a concrete slab, driveway or pool deck. The process actually “floats” the slab back into place with minimal cosmetic repair necessary.

The grout mixture that is used in slab jacking is usually a combination of cement, sand, fly-ash and various other additives. The grout offers a strong base beneath the existing slab that insures an excellent finished product.

A pattern of injection points are drilled through the sunken portion of the slab. Their diameter is determined by the slab size and thickness, as well as the amount of pressure necessary to adequately “float” the slab. Using our specifically designed equipment, the grout is pumped under pressure to first, fill any cavities beneath the slab and second, hydraulically raise the slab to the desired height. The injection points are then filled with concrete and brush finished to give a professional surface appearance.

Secure Foundation Systems, Inc.'s proven staff and “state of the art” equipment can efficiently perform your slab jacking project.

All concrete slabs have a tendency to evidence hairline cracks due to the drying and curing process of concrete. Normal settlement will take place in the first two to two and a half years that the residential or commercial structure is in natural soils. After that, settlement is generally due to geological settlement in the deeper layers.

Often, the slab on one side of the crack will be lower than on the other side or it can shift horizontally. When that happens, the slab will become a candidate for a process known in the industry as “slab jacking”.
